I'm about to go into work, so I'm not looking at anything on else on here after I say this, and I know there are going to be people getting mad at me but hey what can you do.

You don't have to fucking stream. No matter what group we are talking about.

I could talk all day about people like me who have full time jobs and other responsibilities they have to deal with, so they cant reasonably be expected to put in all that extra effort (and yes it is an extra effort.) But its not even just that.

Kpop is a music genre, and groups are literally just that. musical groups. I understand wanting to support them and be a good fan, but don't get pissed at people of they don't take all the same steps you do. For example, I have bought every. Single. Ateez album. Every. Single. Version. Thats a shit ton of money for one person to give, and I know I am not the only person who has done this. If thats the way I choose to support them then don't be a dick about me not doing this other thing too. And even that is a bit excessive, some people just don't have the money, or resources to actively support a group beyond listening to their music, and that is ok.

I'm not saying avoid the streaming content completely, I have watched all the kingdom videos several times just because I like seeing it, but I dont have a "goal." I'm just watching for the enjoyment.

And I know it will never happen, but the whole idea of using views in that show is to see which performance was most enjoyed by the audience, but streaming just turns it into which fan base has more time and resources to make that happen. So I think that it just straight up shouldn't be allowed in shows like this.

When it comes to MVs I honestly understand why you do it and I will actively support your actions, just once again dont get mad at other people if they can't or simply don't want to. It doesn't mean they are a bad fan. It just means they got other shit going on.

Some of yall turn being a kpop stan into a full time job and that is

cannot stand green bitches whose entire agenda is to shame ppl, oftentimes the poor/‘working class’ and ppl of color, and blame their every action instead of directing that energy at corporations.

ytphobia-deactivated20210908

poor single mothers of color driving their kids to school and grabbing a burger for $2.50 aren’t the cause of environmental ruin and they’ve never been. maybe instead of ostracizing communities that are already marginalized as it is for not having the same options as you, stop buying brown child labor quinoa, educate yourself on why veganism is nowhere near the most affordable cruelty-free dietary option, and for god’s sake start going after corporations instead of poor poc trying to survive.

ytphobia-deactivated20210908

if you’re going to rb and fight abt the validity of veganism make your own post i’m serious. stop derailing my post about poor poc being blamed by mostly white wealthy “environmentalists” and vegans for things they can’t control and things they’re suffering for much more than y’all are. this goes double if you’re white. so you’re fine with talking over and harming poor poc but you draw the line at animal cruelty? fuck right off

Reddit makes for some haunting reading these days.

My wife's 30 year old cousin in San Diego got it. Gave it to his dad, her uncle. Both ended up in ICU on ventilators. Her cousin survived but not her uncle. He passed away in June.

If i was responsible for any person's death i dont know if i would be able to forgive myself. Thats why i am very careful and in quarantine. I dont know why these people dont get it. Why they are so irresponsible. Why they dont care. It is really tragic
